Don't worry too much Nickey Blue, I'm not going to stop punting, or ogling your amazing bod for that matter, but exposing oneself on this forum (intentionally or not) seems to be an increasing risk that needs a rethink

In a perfect world, punters wouldn't have to worry about their proverbial lives, and SPs wouldn't have to worry about their literal lives, being threatened.

We shouldn't waste the opportunity to reflect that a thread like this one brings.

We are all human beings dealing with other human beings who, like us, are much more than what we see in these purple corridors.

We all have fears and we all have faults and, more than anything, we should keep this in the back of our minds as we interact on the forum.

Having personally being sued for defamation and a few other things over the years and been a media observer across three continents I can tell you this: no one wins. If the SW is taking the action I very much doubt she has the funds for the long haul. If it is the punter I hope he has very deep pockets. These kind of law suits are really only for the very rich and corporates. Every letter and point in negotiation costs a lot of money in a lawyers time - hence the tactic of drawing it out to cost the poorer party out. I doubt very much this would end up in court when it costs really big money. These are the practical aspects. The legal elements don't really matter at this point as these lawyers letters are merely an expensive negotiation. I must say I always am amused by celebrity defamation cases where the damage to reputations is worse than the cost.

With recent slander campaigns against SPs I believe it reminded her of this post.

Trouble is when karma dishes out justice it's not just the perpetuator that suffers the consequences,but their offsprings and generations after them (up to the 3rd&4th generation!) in their lineage.
