Johnny English your observation is spot on, I wouldn't extend this to all Saffers but majority who I have met in my travels are always saying negative things about the country especially in Ireland and the UK. I can't quite quantify it into words but there is almost a 'feel sorry for us' mentality. But they have no issues commenting about how lucky they are or highlighting everything that is wrong with the country on South African pages.

Yes, I know quite a few that have emigrated in the past year or two. Some never return to SA after completing their studies there.
