That one person's culinary preference to eat a small tiny bat brought the whole world to a standstill?
The act, of this person, took away my freedom to eat at my favourite restaurant "Dinning at the Y". Here I sit browsing through the menu, so many dishes to choose from and not free to move.

From what I have read...it is proven that it was transmitted from an animal...then to an intermediate host (also animal) and then to humans...so no proof that it came from someone eating a bat.
What is certain is that it was not produced in a laboratory.

I find it absolutely acceptable to eat Bats or Pangolins or whatever animal you so desire.
At the end of the day humans eat and kill all kinds of species in the name of "cuisine delicacies".
Pork, Beef, Prawns, Snails... The list is endless. Where does one draw the line and what gives such a person authority to dictate what IS and what ISN'T edible? I think the Chinese just got unlucky this time...
