Europe is nearing winter. This virus thrives in the cold. Europe gets very cold... This was "predicted" months ago. Its fascinating how the media reports now want to convey the message that this is a surprise.

Governments in most countries will use this "2nd wave" as an excuse to expand their power and agendas through less controlled and oversight. By "resetting" economies, these people allow themselves the gap to get in first. It's not about the people, its about power and money.

Compliance has been at record highs during this so-called pandemic.
You even see people driving alone wearing masks.
There was a time when people could think for themselves !
Soon they'll be queuing up begging to pay for the vaccine !

You got that spot on !
And most folk in SA probably don't know that while they cowering and being compliant under lockdown that government tried to enact a bill which would allow them to put a 5G tower on your property without your permission.

Number of new cases has increased but not at an alarming rate.

I don't forsee SA going to level 5 till March. It will take years if ever for the economy to recover from the previous lockdown so hope the government will come up with a solid mitigation plan (as I roll my eyes)

The virus doesn't do well in hotter climates. It's heading into summer the virus will largely be subdued till colder weather starts kicking in.
