Completely agree. I would never attempt to negotiate a lower rate just because it doesn't match what I think the SP should charge.

When I am confronted with a 2x hourly = 2hr rate, I simply just book for an hour or decline to book and methinks that's the SP's loss more than mine.

What if there is no food at home?

Then you pay for somebody else's cooking. They cooked for you to eat. Didn't they? So pay up without raising a conscience. 2 hours double the price is time. Whether you're relaxing in between or working hard the full 2 hours on the clock will not cease to tick.

It's a commercial blunder by WGs. You can see who's really put in thought into their pricing based on this.

Funny enough I was planning something with a WG who gave me the 90 min rate = 60 min rate + 30 min rate spiel, but now that I think about I think I'll just go with her 60 min rate only (as she's quite pricey anyway).

Some of the girls are not that good at maths. I once got a pm from a wg that said she charges R700 for an hour and R1500 for 2 hours. When I tried to explain that it did not make sense she argued with me that those are the rates she charges. I then tried to book 2 separate 1 hour sessions immediately after each other and she never responded back lol

I'm a fan of 2hr+ bookings when I have the time but I find when I call and ask about rates I'm often told that a 2hr booking is 2x my hour rate (or, even worse, my 90 minute rate is my hour + my 30 minute rate)

This doesn't make much sense as the SP (for example) may charge R700/30mins or R1000/hr meaning the marginal rate for the second 30 minutes is R300? Surely this could be continued in a similar way to R1600/2hrs rather than R2000?

What's the views of everyone else on this?

Was also thinking about this. Not make sense.
30min is R700
60min is R1000
90min is R1700
120min is R2000
The 1st and 3rd half hour is R700. The 2nd and 4th half hour is R300.
Cant I book every 2nd half hour ... lol.
Will work better if the rate going R700, R1000, R1300; R1600
But its always the ladies choice. Get another R600 if you dont have a booking or is happy with R1000.

[QUOTE;2454186;cremesoda] I'm a fan of 2hr+ bookings when I have the time but I find when I call and ask about rates I'm often told that a 2hr booking is 2x my hour rate (or, even worse, my 90 minute rate is my hour + my 30 minute rate)
When I raised this very question with a WG, her answer was that she could get her full price for the hour (my 2nd hour) from another punter. Well that assumes she works like the swing door brigade that have one in the bed and one in the parking lot at any given time.
Surely economies of scale apply, keep the one you have at a discounted rate for the second hour unless you do have 8 to 10 clients a day and every hour is accounted for.

At the end of the day, it's your money and the choice to make. Which no one should despise you for. You certainly opt for a better time to delight yourself.

I personally charge double the price for 2 hours. To me it makes sense and half the time, they stay an extra 15 - 30 minutes over and that's still my choice. It is only fair but I am still not obliged to give you the extra 15 - 30 minutes so you can lay naked or forget that I still have work to do. Let the extra time be a time to shower and greet your farewell.

Have reason to let me continue working and take that extra 15 from the given 30 minutes as courtesy. Don't over indulge otherwise a person will come forward as being greedy or selfish.

Ain't no monetary discounts on my watch but appreciate that no more money than what you are paying or have paid for is or was demanded from the buyer.

Some people chow the whole cow instead of just the leg that was sold for. And they don't even say thank you but complain because there was not enough breastmilk.

And 3 hours on a blowjob straight is no joke as well.

.

So, using that logic, you can charge 12 times the hourly rate for an all nighter?
