Hey guys going through some hard shit right now... I lost close to about 800k gambling today. Any other punters experienced shit like this or have any advice for a time like this? I'm feeling very very bad :(

You should contact gamblers anonymous. I'm sure there are plenty people there who have been through similar situations.

800k .... that's way to much money to be pissing away at the casino ,whats done is done ,its imperative you be honest with yourself and realise that you have a serious addiction, consider this a wake up call for you to take action,start the process of healing by getting the professional help that you clearly need.

Yeh think I'll find a GA meeting it may help to speak to other degenerates like. I still dont think it'll heal this hole that I now feel though. I feel so broken and angry as. My neighbours must think im cray with all the shouting that I've done today. Fuck man

If you are not happy with GA, try a counsellor they can be very helpful

I guess it depends how much 800k is of your net worth. If it is a small percentage, it is just one of those days. If you are invested in equities or high(er) risk Financial assets, losing 5% of your investment on a day, is pretty "normal".

I am not downplaying what has happened, but maybe see it in perspective.

It's clearly a stupid thing to have done but remember everyone makes mistakes in life ,it certainly is not the end of the world,tommorow is another day ,you pick yourself up and keep going .

don't beat yourself up to much , like I said what's done is done , rather see this as a life lesson to be learnt and get the help that you need .
