Go find a life style couch if the GA won't work for you. As sometime facing people with the same addictions, people compare their addictions to others and think , I ain't that bad I don't need to be here. Life style couches help you change your lifestyle it ain't whether u as bad as some one else. But whether you any good to yourself.
( I know a pretty awesome one)


50% of any addiction problem is the accessibility...

To much free time and being close to casinos can be a huge problem.

Get a hobby to keep you occupied.

Change your traveling routes so as not to pass casinos.

Find someone that knows about your addiction that will listen to you, that you can go to or phone when the craving hits. Someone that can take your mind of the craving by helping you find other avenues to spend your time.

And if it is really bad.. Find someone to manage your finances. Your access to money being curbed can only help and not do harm.

Its a empty void you cant fill.
Gambling isnt the answer.
That high you feel when you on a roll...then losing you hard earned money.
Its because you keep your head busy for that moment, and switching off from the world.
I always said my dads addiction(when he stopped drinking) made way for another addiction.
You cant replace one with another.
Rather get the help you need.

Its heartbreaking.
And mix that with alcohol or substance...thats your downfall.

But who knows..perhaps this is the only place one can take a load off.

Just remember we shouldn't envy someone else's wealth.

But yeah putting it out there,and we as normal middle class citizens knows whats going on in our own lives...man one cant help but think how stupid this move was.
