If I may add without derailing, the following, which is my personal view.

The basic principal of every religion, whether one agrees with the smaller details and fine print or not, is that of basic human love for another and to strive to better yourself and your surroundings.
So if that is the basis of what we all in principal say we believe and preach then why all the senseless attacks and violence?
What seriously concerns me is that not one of the last few incidents could be "justified " by the perpetrator as to be aimed at any nation or person specific. It is purely random and therefore normal ordinary people from across the board gets effected, and probably had no link to whoever the person was aiming his attack against?

Therefor the question as to what has then been achieved by the attack in my mind?

It is ridiculous to discriminate or bully people by race, gender, sexuality or how/who they were born. We're all here for the same reasons; to love and to enjoy life and make the best of our limited time here. It's as simple as that!
