This modern world views kindness and empathy and compassion as a weakness making one a target of sociopathic cowardly bullies especially on social media sites and forums.
The sad truth is that those who do have these stellar attributes will "cower" / keep silent instead of sharing in the full might of a united force with others who possess such qualities too.
Why would that be?

I can understand what someone is going through from an intellectual point of view. To be able to feel what they are going through for me is impossible unless I have been in that same situation. To say otherwise would be hypocritical of me.
I also disagree with Cohen here. It is not the flaw that makes us human, it is the flaw that makes us perfectly unique
