HIV can have a window period of up to 6 months. Guidelines are to test at 3 months and then 6 months again to be sure.

I dont normally agree with Sylvia (LoL), but she is right. For a few seconds of pleasure you can throw your whole life away.
Out of curiosity, why wait 3 months ?
Arent there tests that will be 99% accurate after about 3 - 4 weeks from time of exposure ?
