Take the coin to a local SCOIN shop. They buy/sell at the "rate of the day". You will be able to get an evaluation of the coin, at the day's rate. You might need to show proof of purchase or authenticate ownership of the coin...Maybe a certificate of purchase....this is optional at some outlets, due to a high rate of theft from homes etc...
So, if you offer this to a SP for her services, they will also be able to do the same. They might gain or lose value, due to the rate of the day. Also they might have a problem actually exchanging it.
Your best bet is to exchange it yourself and use the cash to book your favourite SP.
