I grew up with the term used as reference to something or a place in the context of "daai plek is n hoer se handsak!".
The inference was that it is messy but if you search long enough you can find anything there.
I don't know anything about handbag content and don't need to find out, but how else do you define love?
Threads on falling in purple love abound with concensus on the No!
But then what is the term for how we feel towards each other (note plural)
I enjoy their company. Think of them when alone. Smile when I think of them, get a happy rush when I receive a wa, look forward to see again. Miss when not together, want to share news, feel protective when bad comments are made or bad things happen, worry when I don't get messages and want to help where and however I can and in general live a much better life with them in my life.
So I know that makes me a fool, but a happy fool.
What term then to use if not love?
