"I'm in town"

"But I am not in Jhb!" She replied, feeling forlorn. She loved his company and their time together.

"Neither am I. Care for a walk? Meet u at the lighthouse?"

"U lie! U lie! U in CT???" She sounded like a child out of control, squealing with joy.

Was it the walk. Was it the relax. Was it the chatting and chatting and laughing and catching up....whatever it was, the hours spent from that peck on the cheek and a hug most tight and sincere to a lay most exhausted on a dishevelled bed with all sort of stuff on the floor from clothes to shoes to empty water bottles drunk to quench a heavy thirst and dryness of mouth...was the proof that some people were meant to walk into each other's life and give it that zing deserved to make one's journey forward that much more colorful and joyfully happy.

They were like two peas in a pod and with their goodbye promised to meet up again, no matter where or when and, love the moment shared for what it was.

Life is funny, she thought.

Pockets of different sort of happiness most definitely need to be embraced and recognized for what they are and then to step into the real world feeling refreshed and most invigorated.
