a week past, a new week to face,

a late eve quiet much thought to place...

on new adventures, new roads to take

that always know, ones equilibrium to shake.

most times, we think we know what waits,

with much zeal ones psyche anticipates,

the next step to take, what pitfalls to avoid

yet, choices made quite sigmoid.

for, there be so much that will know to influence and play,

on certainties and choices, at first, made without delay,

the goal in mind the desire to hurry,

all of a sudden, the path becomes blurry.


and then,a doubt... a second guessing... a hesitant anticipation,

was that the best choice...?... a re-evaluation,

of actions past of actions future,

trying the original desire, to re-capture.


at no point in time should one forget,

in ones creature comforts become too set,

and thus, when the winds of change come a calling,

not sure what next, an unnecessary stalling.


but,strength of character persistence to succeed,

will not fail those, nor impede,

on their desire to push forth and fight that fear,

no matter the hardship rather, forward to steer.

how sweet the victory how sweet the outcome,

of tribulation and threatening uncertainty to be the sum,
and thus to indulge in the solitude of a peaceful evening,

where adventures unknown will find new meaning.
