Made me wonder if this might be the same reason why many other punters always complain on forum that they never get replies from SPs.

I've had this happen to me sometimes too. It really sucks when they're so nice to you and then you seem like a dick for "not responding". As far as I'm aware there isn't a way to enable or disable this from our profiles, but I could be mistaken.

There is no setting on one's profile to accept pms or not. The only option I am aware of is to mark a pm as "spam", which would "block" future pm's from a particular sender

I am sure if there is no setting to change it ,you can contact the office to change whether you accept or not accept PM's.

There is no way this gentlemen could have blocked me(my PM's as spam) as I have never before communicated with him via PM.

I was taken by suprised to see the message that says " this user do not accept PM's" I have never encountered that before.
