I am a really big fan of Ivy, back in the fold and currently in Moreleta. She is dynamite!

Knowing her well, I can clearly see that some of her pictures are photoshopped.

What are the ESA Punters' opinion on this?

Take Alexa in Centurion for instance. She is a great punt. her pics are not 'shopped at all. If you look closely, everything is "advertised as is"

Opinions?

I know some ladies use it to hide some distinctive tattoos and so on for identity issues.

If you use to lose a quick 20kg or turn back time, then I steer away, but if it is used to dazzle up, enhance a nice photo, then why not?

You've got a good eye for these things, I guess. I can't see why the one is obviously photoshopped and the other is not.. what do I look for??

Photoshop will always happen. Plus using light various angles etc.Best is to resemble your ad as close as possible

ESA doesn't photoshop anything, I can assure you. If anything looks different in a photo as to real life, well- have you heard of the art of posing? The only thing they do is remove identifiable tattoos/ scars, for privacy purposes.

I was told from day 1 that the only thing that could be edited on my pics is a blemish on one boob which most people who know me can identify.
Actually, I just took a peek, its hardly there anymore. A small patch where the skin is slightly discoloured, the size of a R5 coin.
I will never forget when Steve still did my pics, I was laying on the bed, and he said 'NO WAY'. I thought what just happened? Then he said, you look way too thin in this pic. So I am not so sure about Esa photoshopping. And yes, I DID look 10 kgs slimmer. Lighting is also a big factor, esp for us brown ladies. In certain lighting I look a good few shades lighter. (Funny, I have never looked darker) But my photographer knows that I dont look right if my colour is out by a few shades and she always tells me when the colour doesnt seem right. We look at each pic as she takes it and delete and redo if necessary. Not a single photographer (and I have worked with 5 from Esa) has ever told me they will edit things right, all except the blemish that now seems to have faded.

You dont need to photoshop to get a better photo. If a photographer know what she/he do its all about light, they way you stand/sit ext to get a better photo. You can let somebody look 20kg thinners just to let them stand a sertain way.
But to photoshop scars and tatoos away for privacy is under.
