I know a few gents who leave their main phone at work. Get a punting phone. Install uber on punting phone.

1. Leave it in the office .
2. Park at a mall nearby and leave the phone there and walk/Uber rest of the way.
3. Switch the phone off. Battery died or was in basement or some outlying area with no reception.

4. Haven't tried but there are some fake GPS apps. I used one a few years ago for different purposes and it worked great. Just you can only change your location once every few hours on the free version. I used Google Maps to get the coordinates of where I wanted to be and then input that into the app. Also remember to take the coordinates of where you currently are to inpit when you switch back so it doesn't look like you just jumped from work to home for example.
