I know it's embarrassing to cum quickly, feels like a waste of money and time. So my question is, does it help to rub one out before an appointment so that you may last longer and enjoy the session more?

Lots of guys do so, if you search the forum, it has been discussed before.
The ladies hate it of course. Because they want you to finish off as soon as possible.

If I rub, I am done no need to go for a booking
So the best is to try to go for round two.
Or if the budget and time allows, book a 30 min session. Then book another lady after an hour or two. I did it before and the second booking lasted longer.
