I've had my fair share of 'accidental encounters' lol. One lady decided to squat right in front of me as I was working out, like she was trying to bless me with front-row tickets to the gun show...and I don't mean biceps. She finished her set, turned around with a smile, 'Yeah, you saw that,' I mean, ma'am...how am I supposed to keep count when I'm getting distracted like that?
Then there was the girl who'd been using the ab machine like a pro for weeks - suddenly one day she needed a tutorial. Real subtle. I'm showing her the ropes, and she's side-eyeing my abs like they're giving out investment advice.
And don't get me started on the 'form check' during deadlifts. She asked me 'Can you stand behind me and make sure my technique's right?' Mmm. That view was less about form and more about...formation.
I even had one on the treadmill in front of me, checking me out mid-stride like I was part of her cardio routine. Then she 'accidentally' leaves her phone and ear buds behind like it's a Cinderella slipper. Smooth.
And the cherry on top. One woman on the elliptical casually drops, 'I'm so horny, I'm going home to use my toy.' Like... okay. Is this cardio or confession?
All I've learned is: the gym isn't just a temple of gains - its a steamy jungle of suppressed urges. Especially cycle class - those up-downs. That's not just quad work, that's a battle between thirst and resistance.
Look, I'm not a personal trainer - I don't wear the polo, I don't carry a clipboard, but for some reason, I've become the unofficial 'coach' of the gym. Ladies keep asking for fitness tips, complimenting my physique like I'm the final boss of chest day. All smiles, all charm.
There's one who always finds a reason to touch my bicep when she talks to me, like its her lucky charm or something. And its not just gym-goers either...even the female personal trainers flirtatious like they're trying to get a spot in my program. I've had a few offer house calls - personal training at my place, if you can believe it. Real subtle.
And don't even get me started on the ladies who casually drop. 'We should totally work out at my home gym sometime'. Right. Sure. I'll bring dumbbells, you bring the plot twist.
Good lord, I just came here to lift weights, not navigate a fitness-themed soap opera. But here we are.
