So in south Africa at 12 many women will stand in solidarity with other abused women. I am supporting this initiative and taking a stand against all women that are abused in this cruel society.

Let's stop. most importantly stand up when you see a woman or child being abused.

Not only in society, but here too. Verbally, emotionally and mentally it happens here everyday. Most times I read reviews and threads and the behavior is horrific. And these are stellar men in the ordinary world.

I fully support this as woman and children needs protection against abuse. But when are we going to stand together for the men out there? Men also get abused in many ways, be it verbal or physical. The problem is they feel embarrassed to speak up as they would be seen as weak if they say they are being abused. My mother was an alcoholic and abuser and hated it when I didn't defend her when her partner actually fought back defending himself. People need to realize that it is not just woman and children that are victims of abuse, but men as well. November is men's health awareness month and on the 19th of November it was International Men's day. I wonder who knew and supported it. June is normally Men's Mental Health month. Just as woman and children need protection, so do the men around us.
