It doesn't take long for a person to realize that people are talking behind their back , malevolent wg's with an unfounded agenda will spread lies about a punter so that he drives long distances just to arrive at a locked gate and a phone that is not answered
I can understand if someone doesn't want to see me but to take a booking and then wait until I drove all the way to you before putting off your phone ...I got a little tired of that so it's been a year now and I saved a lot of money , I am buying a new boat

I wish I could say I've stopped and saved lots of money.. I haven't and I haven't. Still punting 2-3 times a week.. gotta stop, but so many new hotties joining to try out, but I don't have a regular anymore, so maybe that'll help

I used to spend too much money in this game luckily I must have pissed of one of the wg's because it became apparent that word was spreading around the back channel and it wasn't good words
only two girls I saw regularly still took my bookings , but since they left it's been getting to difficult to find ones that actually honored their bookings , so I just stopped

Sure nobody spread the word about me as I was not active on here. But being from out of town and not getting chance too often was really looking forward to some fun this weekend. Came down to Ctown for boatshow. Looked at all the profiles and read some reviews. Made my choice accordingly. Arrived at place only to be told I did not confirm ! Drove all the way from Houtbay to Seapoint. Then told to take a picture of myself and send it to confirm I am there ! Have heard about similar on this forum before. What a disapointment.

I think the extortion problem has also taken it's toll. Punting is supposed to be fun but has become less so with all the nonsense surround it.

Asking for a loan and the extortion problem mainly. Looking back pre covid on how much interaction I had with wg's previously, these days it's almost zero. Only 1 or 2 I keep in contact with.
The punting game has changed, which was inevitable.

Over and above the economy and inflation which is the biggest deterrent to punting, I think the extortion problem had a bigger impact than everyone initially thought. The irony is that the thing was fuelled by wg's who took money from the extortionists in return for contact details and those very girls are now quiet because of the environment they themselves created. Its also not rocket science for guys to figure out who they called/visited and who the culprits might be.

I want to add another thing to the list - tiered pricing models. In addition to that it's also the exorbitant fees for the add ons. I can understand that for example a lady might charge extra for greek because it's almost a totally different service, but the number of add ons have become ridiculous, some things that were standard aren't anymore.

Agree totaly on your last part. The new ladies/Some old ones, that look very sexy, asked a very high fee. But then when it come to perform in the booking, they don't. Okay they can charges what they want, it is their bodies. But don't promise a service that you can't delivered. That is why I mainly book ladies I know and always get good service.
