so I visited a lady in wendywood and a couple days later I received a call from someone asking am I so and so , after responding yes,, this person presented himself as a police officer from Morningside and informed me a case had been opened against me ..

I asked for what And he responded did I phone any ladies from a website and asked how did I pay because a lady had been arrested, and had given my number as a person who paid her using fake money and I'm a suspect.


has this ever happened to anybody?

I believe this is just scam with the police trying to extort money from a person..

id like to know how they getting people's names..

are the ladies evolved or are police getting names and numbers from the security cameras in the area which can do license plate recognition.

It's a common scam, just ignore that person. It's a fake police. Me Lao get yourself a sim card to use just for punting.

Yes some of the ladies give the numbers to the scammers and the scammers use caller if apps to get the name.

There is an episode on carte Blanche about this. This whole operation is run by actual criminals in prison

The mere fact that there is still guys who dont know about this scam is scary. It totally means there is people who are falling for it.

I guess the Carte Blanche expose did nothing but make them double down on their resolve.

Ive been to the Thai place there aswell as Les Boudoir this year and never had any issues.

But till name and shamed, It wont be good for buisness in the area.
So you need to help your fellow punters out...

We can give the lady the benefit of doubt (doubtfull), but just mention who you saw ...or maybe the street name...H**o*d Ave.

Its not Les Boudoir or the Thai place...I have been to both as well and no issues...
