A punting phone is not really an option for me as another phone that can be found will just create unwanted questions. Telegram solves for this. Thoughts?

I agree aswell. But I think the problem is that telegram uses normal data, and becomes a bit expencive and not all have wifi.

But yes telegram is more private

Sooo this is the reason for the resistance....

I often wondered why SPs resist(ed) using Telegram. I gave up even suggesting during interactions yet it is the most secure. Telegram should be the app of choice for this type of thing never WhatsApp. Telegram has unlimited media sharing capability, Secret Timed Chats and that Delete for Both Sides thing is the coolest thing ever.

By the way you dont need a working phone number after you register a Telegram account, I used a number to a R5 Pre-Rica-ed sim I got from a Paki. I use a username to log in via web - no need to have the actual app on your phone so the MRS can use the phone all she needs. No sport.

Oh well not all of us are comfortable showing real numbers when we call as we dont use punting phones for the reason Synergy05 mentioned, no I wont buy one. If the SP cant answer No Caller IDs calls oh well I guess that is it then. Everyone has to operate within their comfort zone.
