The world of cellphones is going crazy.
Contracts are now 36 months long.
And then, the yellow network seems to increase prices mid contract every year now. This is wild. It's like a WG increasing prices mid strokes lol.

It is simply because there are people who will pay it. It is the same as Apple logic.
The production cost of that phone won't be above R5000. And even
that is being very generous.

Yes amazingly people will still pay such an outrageous price for the show off factor. Its become even more of a statement to have the latest flagship phones from Samsung or apple. Just had a good 2 weeks holiday for this amount of money.

I have "jump ship", and moved away from both Apple and Samsung, and have never been sorry about it.
Xiaomi phones are just as good, but much more reasonbly priced.
