I went to a massage venue yesterday in Bedfordview- which I have been going to for many many years.

There is no water in the area but they do not tell you about this upfront. You discover this during or at the end of the session.

At this point you have already paid - a pet peeve of mine in general, up front payments - and you are in the room with the massage girl already.

I opted to go through and at the end you get a small bucket of hot water to clean yourself with.

I don't know what the solution is for municipal water issues and I feel for the venues where this happens.

But at least have the courtesy to inform a client upfront that there is an issue so we can decide how to proceeed!

Not sure if I will be going back anytime soon.

/rant over.

Totally agree, at least inform us when making the booking!
I had a booking yesterday - with a proper shower - and even today i feel like i am still removing oil. LoL
Cannot imagine how it would have been with just a bucket....

Have been to a few wgs like that, surprisingly many were regulars but didn't think to say at booking that there's no water.

Becomes a massive problem when you now need to wash out the massage oil and massage lube and lipstick and perfume etc before going home to the wife.

Needless to say, I never returned. Had the been upfront, I would have skipped that day and booked another time but after having that experience, you just never wanna be in that situation again so you never go back in case they don't have water again and she didn't tell you and you're caught out again. Just bad business.

That was the first thing you should have been told even when making an enquiry.

I have had some days in the past where moreleta parks water has been off and its critical information. Not okay to only be told after the booking. That is a big no no. Sorry you had this experience.

Must have gotten a massage from me
I swim in oil.

Agree totally you should have been informed.
A bucket can maybe work for a FH visit but massage lol never!

Managed the oil... at least I was not swimming in it, that would have been a major issue.

I also understand the catch22 for the venue - the ladies need clients etc so they don't want to have someone maybe declining to come in and go to another venue.

But long term.... Customer service will win over the instant cash now.

Yip, bit rather lose a couple clients for the day and have some readjust their session to cater like skip the massage so no oil, no hair play so you don't get hair juices all over you hair and make it oily etc, tell the lady to remove the colour stay lipstick that rather stay on you than on her. Better than losing a customer for life.

Yes, had that once or twice but at FH rather than massage venues.

But you still want to do some cleaning up after any type of session

Do you know where we are living???? These venues and any other person offering sevices should at least stock up with large bottled water, cheap enough, but that is beside the point, have at least 30 botttles at venues at least guys can wash and also you can heat it up if you have no LS. But only takes a bit of a brain here. I always have big bottled water in case of water down, which is often in my area. WAKE UP VENUES AND ANYONE ELSE WITH WATER AREA SHORTAGES.
