We have all experienced the wg who meets you at the door in the threadbare faded dressing gown with matching fluffy well worn slippers. I have never had a good session with one of these.
My current favourite outfit (and it was easier to put together than the gown) was: a tutu (one of those cheap frilly ones) too short of course, no underwear so her bum was in full view, a pair of white sneakers, a sexy bra, and a broad naughty smile.. Simple but epic. I loved it

I've dressed up, done makeup curled my hair and no gentlemen was interested (via introduction at the venue I work from).

Then,I'll get to work still dressed in my baggy comfy clothes, no make up, hair not even straightened and guess what, back to back bookings.

So then I wonder , what DO men want?????

I actually can't believe ladies would answer the door in well worn slippers and a gown... especially if not requested...

We will never get an answer bcz they don't even know wot they want themselves hehe. Im sure you looked sexy and yummy in your comfy baggy clothes .

I've never worn gown and slippers for a client but even if I did, I doubt id get complaints for it. Id rock the gown and slippers look anyway. Sometimes Its not wot you wear but how you wear it. But it can't be broken and faded that's just wrong, come now ladies stop being so shady.

I 100% agree with this! When I was younger I used to find odd or "ugly" looking clothes and my friends would think that I made a horrendous choice. But when put together with what I saw in my mind, they always eventually retracted their words...

Although I have gone off the main topic.

So back to the original poster...

I used to OVER dress for bookings and wear formal clothes. I thought a gentleman is a classic look that never goes out of fashion.

But my clients said that I intimidated them and they prefer me in gym clothes with a cap. Or that guy next door look.

Now to hell with all of the above LOL

My new photos are my most authentic version of me actually and while I will always be a gentleman about things, I'm really just DTF.

Many years ago I visited a wg. Her ad was so hot. She had on very sexy lingerie and beautiful make up. It was a popular house at the time. I got taken to a room to wait for her. She arrived dressed in old faded pink pants and filthy pink flops. It was such a disappointment. I know always tell the lady what to wear from her advertisement.

I agree...I always ask my client what he prefers me to wear
And I love dressing up ...it's part of paying attention x

Those two words, "paying attention" are the essence of this post. Miss Kitana understands what I am alluding to. I bet she is amazing. And that artwork *swoon*. The perfect outfit.!
