I think there's always been a proportion of SPs with terrible phone manners. You might have just hit a streak of contacting these ones. Or unless you're saying this proportion has increased which would be hard to prove. But I agree, if the comms is terrible rather move on to be safe.

I've picked up a pattern lately when contacting advertisers, where I'll start the conversation with something simple like "Hi, how are you?" and the response is just a blunt, direct answer to my query with no greeting or acknowledgement at all.
I understand people are busy, but to me, basic politeness sets the tone for good service.
It makes me wonder whether their overall service quality can (or should) be judged by their telephone manner. Some of the advertisers have good ratings too.
Am I being overly particular, or have others experienced the same thing? Do you think phone etiquette still matters when deciding who to do business with?
