My very conservative calculation because when I started it was twice a week. Lets work on average 3 times a month @ R800 x 17 years = R489 600.

Met a dude at HOE and he spend Rm 1 average each year on punting and was confirmed by some people who know him.

I'll never believe anyone on how much they spend especially when theyou talk figures. I just say in my mind "good for you".
Perhaps if I had to believe if I met guys who were ESA punter of the year I would believe them.

Orpheus , most probably a very lonely person ... to spend so much time punting .... not having much of a normal live with family and friends ... I could see it in his eyes when I told him about my simple life style that he was actually a very lonely human being ... I think it is all about having balance in life ... some punting from time to time but more importantly a family lifestyle !!!
