New Bill against hate crimes and hate speech

Cabinet has given the green light for the enactment of The Prevention and Combating of Hate Crimes and Hate Speech Bill. This will create offences for any discrimination based on race, sexual orientation, gender, religion and/or nationality and put measures in place to prevent and combat hate crimes and hate speech, including those on social media.
