Why do some SPs ask punters to phone for details on their specials? Why not give the details in their posts? I am sure they may just attract more interest by making it easier for guys to make a decision.

By asking to phone email or whatsapp for details gives ladies a chance to sell themselves on the phone..

I prefer my clients to call me to talk to me to get a feeling...

By posting a special eg: R200 off every session guys might not get a feeling to whether not or to book.

By calling a lady may it be on a special or not and she answers her phone with confidence and or respectable a client could feel her warmth which then makes up his mind.

Many girls including me post specials asking to phone...

Its also not a good idea to post prices on a public forum if you aren't paying Tax. SARS could have a field day with the information you provided freely, on assuming how many clients you could see daily, at the rate you posted and then.... we all know what happens then!

Yup, a phone call is always better to get that personal invite. By the time I phone, I am already 80% decided. So with regards to the specials, if I have to phone to find out what it is, it doesn't make a difference to me, since I won't phone if I wasn't planning to visit in any case.

I am by no means a tax expert, but if I am a consultant and my rate per hour is R1000, it doesn't mean anything if I don't sell hours?
Also, a log/accounts/bookkeeping/resource planner will be needed for time sold to get to a revenue figure?

Like I said, no expert, I may be completely wrong.

MrShyGuyV2,

I am certainly no tax expert either. But surely you invoice your consultancy fees to your clients. You have proof of your hours and payment received. WG's cant invoice you, or I suppose they could, but its an illegal business. Doubt any clients want an invoice?

There was a very well known wg that went on the Felicia Mabuza Suttle show a few years ago... Who innocently answered one of her questions, saying she earned X amount per client and saw approximately X amount of clients per day. She over sold herself, not realizing the consequences of what she was broadcasting on TV could be held against her. Social media is exactly the same thing and so are Public Forums.

SARS politely seized her assets and froze her accounts and sent her a healthy bill in unpaid taxes... For all the years that she had not paid tax, which they worked out on her average charges and average clients she said she saw per day.

I would rather be safe than sorry!
