The first thing I notice when viewing the photos of a lady are her hands. They tell you a lot. Is she on drugs, does she take care of herself, is the age she reports on her profile really true, has she had a tough upbringing. The same goes for feet. Well cared for feet with nails neatly polished tell you that the lady prides herself in her appearance. I have noticed with dismay the poor condition of some of the lady's hands in some photos. This obviously does not apply to everyone. Ladies,can I please request that you please have a look at your hands before doing a photo shoot.

My hands were always manicured and had tips on almost permanently! I recently started doing creative projects which involve the use of tools, wire, glass and sometimes abrasive chemicals. My hands are always clean but I tend to have cuts, Callouses and rough skin. I rarely have my nails done these days, but they are always short and clean. My feet are always well maintained, clean and pedicured.

How do you assess all of that by the state of a girls hands?

I have always worked with my hands creatively and the state of my hands was never in question until I joined this industry! My creativity ceased and what was important to me stopped because my clients needs, desires and ideas of what I should be became my first obligation. Comments such as this have made me so self conscious over the years that I get myself into a state if I'm expecting a client and something on my body isn't 100%. I've learnt to let certain things go but the anxiety of being ripped apart on here after sharing myself with someone intimately still gets to me!

Hi Veronica. Not sure if you remember me ... we met at the social in December. I am sorry if I offended you. My comments are my general observation. My observation of you when I met you in person is that you are a gorgeous lady and very hot. Your photos do not do justice to how you really look. Its pretty obvious that you take care of yourself.

I never took offence but I'm not always up to standard of what guys mention on here and most of us rarely are. Being in this business makes one aware of things that they never considered previously and I for one can attest to the kind of time and money the things mentioned on here can consume, not to mention the psychological implications of never feeling good enough as even when one adheres to all a punters demands and complies with all specifications mentioned on this forum, there will always be something else that someone will complain about. Sometimes we can try our utmost to be the perfect sp and after some time the realization of never being good enough no matter what we do makes one give up on many things.

I tried to hard through the years and somehow lost myself in the process. Being physically perfect or as close as I can get to it in order to avoid someone breaking down my self esteem has become a chore and not something I enjoy as I once used to. I miss the tomboy in me. I miss waking up in the morning and not dreading the 2hour tedious bore that has been my daily preparation routine for 10 years (this month being my 10th year in the industry).

I am contemplating writing a book on the effects of long term exposure to this industry based on my own experiences, thoughts and conclusions. I am as much an observer of people around me as well as a participant and I express and share these observations as well as the outcome of my own experiences to create awareness if anyone should care. It often comes across as defensive or ranting because most of the time I feel frustrated. Believe it or not, I get your point and I can relate, hence the reason I always went out of my way to correct or better myself accordingly, but I have also paid dearly on doing so and I am not making excuses for us but merely creating awareness that its not always black and white when it comes to us. Assumptions or the ideas created by them can have serious consequences for us in the bigger picture.

I respect your opinion and your right to get what you are paying for. I am simply giving you something else to consider. Whether or not a punter gives a shit is their choice, but since this is the life we live daily, it does matter to us more then you realize. Sometimes its just all to much. We feel darned if we do and damned if we don't, often ending up not giving a crap!

Well...Miss V... I have met you (more than once) and can see that you take care of yourself. Don't worry for a second or give another thought to how your hands and feet look...they are looking great! Please write the book!!

Thanks for the compliments Minime and skyblue, but my replies are not based on any perception of feeling personally insulted by any comments, just by a realization that if I drop the ball (which I often do), I am not excluded from the clients observation/request/criticism as I do fall in the category of service provider. I do know the pressure of adhering to all these requirements and soon enough, ones whole life can be consumed by a need to please everyone in every sense and if something isn't up to scratch physically, it often affects my attitude and self confidence in a booking, and instead of enjoying a session, I obsess about hiding physical flaws, some that I cannot do anything about because I have seen how some girls are ripped apart and also having being humiliated on that level myself a few years back! Our performance and attitude in a booking are often a reflection of how we feel about ourselves and punters attitudes towards us especially when we advertise on a platform like esa where all is laid bare and we have nowhere to hide and every flaw and mishap is exposed.
