Morning Ladies. I find the pm system very convenient, but a lot of ladies don't reply. I can see that they have read my message but just don't reply. Can you please shed some light as to why.

Morning my sweetheart...we get 30 pm's a day ... we hardly respond to all because reaching your daily limit happens very quickly...

I got myself responding with out noticing that ive reached my maximum of 30 a day lol... only after i notices a pop up saying ive reached my limit...

Not that its an excuse but its true....

As well as Chasidy's point there are a few other considerations.

Although it is not as bad as it was, a lot of ladies either don't have internet access.

Then there is the content of what you write in a PM. I'm not saying you have written anything unpleasant but if it does not tickle the mind or encourage the belief that it is a genuine enquiry about something then a lady won't respond.

A lot of ladies won't answer questions about services by PM for the same reason that many will not respond to WhatsApp and Smses. i.e. doing so is often a waste of time as it comes to nothing in the end. Also a lot of ladies want to hear your voice when you make an enquiry. A lot of red flags / causes of concerns can be picked up on a call that don't come across so well in writing.

Where PMs do work is where you already know a lady although there is some controversy about identifying you ESA profile to a lady. Another situation is where you respond to something that a lady has posted on the forum that you feel is not appropriate for the general punting public, maybe something supportive, a note of agreement of just something funny.

The number of replies you get to PMs very much depends on the above.

My point is that you can see the message has been read.

If you get a lot of messages you have to click "Read" in order to clear them.

So if Chasidy gets 30, she may click "Read" on all of them so that the little flag on the top right of the screen next to your profile name goes back to zero.

It doesn't mean they were read, it can just mean that the recipient just cleared them from their inbox.

Le Roux you're spot on about content. Especially if an enquiry is too personal..

I always do my best to respond to pm's and I only had a few cases where I would get distracted when replying and will reply later or the next day. Maybe the same thing happens to other ladies too

In my humble opinion, a reply to a message "shouldn't" count towards an SP's daily message limit.

I agree with MrShyGuy, SP's should not be limited.

If you have pmd me before but never came to see me i see no point in responding to the messages everytime you enquire. As le roux said we look at the content too . Back then i used to respond to all of them. Iv only had 1 booking via pm but i get a lot of business from esa via calls. so now I barely respond as i find it to be a waste of my time. Jus like the smses and whatsapp msgs. I know a few ladies who share the same sentiments.
