Poor guy lost R14K to police scammers and they still want more. He didn't know it was a scam until he was told so on Reddit. It's always good to read the forum to be aware of such scams.
It never ceases to amaze me how guys that have a lot to lose are so careless when entering an industry that is ILLEGAL and that goes against the majority of society's norms.
I mean you choose to take part in an industry that is ILLEGAL and not in any way regulated but you use your own cell number !!!
Guys will come up with all sorts of excuses like: " A punting phone / sim is difficult to conceal" etc, etc.
Make a freaken plan. If you want something bad enough and you need to minimise risk you CAN find a way of doing it with a bit of effort.
Back in the day when I was married I even had a punting CAR ( cheapie rusty golf with super dark tinted windows)
1. none of the wifey's family, friends etc would associate that vehicle to me
2. Not many shady characters hanging around the area of my chosen punt, would in their right minds think of trying to extort money out of a guy driving a rusty old cheapie car.
Thats how far I went to minimise risk when I was a married man.
As long as guys continue to enter this industry blindly and then panic after woods, there will always be a lucrative market for scamsters and extortionists.
Well.... 330guy, I think you did it the clever way..
*Naughty Smile*
These asshole scammers are everywhere.... And they probably do target guys that look like they have money to throw around. Sad fuckin world we live in
Sorry for everyone that's experienced this BS, truly

Never fall for the cop scams.. they are desperate and lazy ass mf's.
No cop will whatsapp or call u to say a case has been opened. They'll arrive at your residence/work place etc,to arrest you. They definitely won't call you to warn u
I remember my 1st scam call... Was not active in the forum's or much on this site tbh, so I also almost fell for this. Luckily I was working from home so after that call I could do some digging etc once I found my bearings etc.
Shame. Poor man. He said he had bloackaded himself to a room. It really freaked him out. Glad he finally got out of it, very expensive R14K lesson, eina.
