Any recommendations on where to buy a pre-Rica sim in Cape Town, preferably Northern Subs or CBD.

In Sea Point you can buy pre-Rica simcards at the cellphone shop next to Checkers in Main Road, Sea Point. It is a small little shop.

Any small cellphone shop - they won't offer pre-RICA straight up but just say you're buying for your gardener who doesn't have papers....always does the trick

Street corner vendors have Ricad SIM cards. It will be registered under some strange name you have never heard of but will work perfectly. Some vendors even give the SIM cards away for free.
