I'm surprised that there are still Gold Ambassador profiles given that the CC option of renewing Gold Membership is not active. Or am I the only one who's too lazy to do an EFT or ATM deposit to activate GM status?

A Gold Ambassador is a lady who's profile is only open to Gold Members. Its got nothing todo with CC payments.

You will see a few ladies has actually switched to GA status. In order to keep working but minimize exposure.

Everyone is taking different routes to try and minimize risks.

The CC facility being off has been a stumbling block to a handful of people. The rest have found ways to pay their GM.

I personally have paid a punters GM for him ( with his money). But he found a way;)

And I am pretty sure I am not the only SP that has done this for a client;)

And with everyone not punting but having to make do with DIY a lot more will find a way to pay their GM to be able to see the PG's and to be able to access videos;)

Sure. I think the guy's point was that the number of Gold Members has considerably decreased since the Payment Gateway for ESA is not working for now.

I would not stay more but quite a substantial number of members prefer to pay by credit card for confidentiality purposes.

Simple Mathematics, less gold members so less exposure for the Gold Ambassadors. But this was before the COVID-19 outbreak. Gold Ambassadors or not, business is very meagre these days for every one. Let's keep figures crossed for that outbreak to stop and we finally find a cure..

I usually do the CC payment.This time I did the Cash deposit at a FNB-ATM.
Cardless transaction...and you type your username as reference.
I did't need to call ESA, my GM was activated even before I loged on again.

Yes but you cannot afford to be a Basic Member. Otherwise, who is going to look after your SS fan club.

I think you misunderstood what I said in my original post, Kooni. I was a Gold Member and without GM status I cannot view Gold Ambassador ads. I clicked on a few WGs' ads over the weekend (those that caught my eye at least), but couldn't gain access because of their GA status.

Under normal circumstances, if my GM status was active (renewed via CC), I would have made a booking. But as a "basic account holder", I simply moved onto ads that I have access to. See where I'm going with this?

I did the ATM deposit the first time I joined ESA. Such an uncomfortable experience, hahaha! "I really left the house, drove to an ATM and deposited money into an account in order to have an enhanced viewing of ads on an escort site", that's what I thought. I don't even remember what my username was back then. I'm trying to recall who my first booking was with...
