If you text a lady asking about her remote, online services.

She responds politely.

It doesn't take much just to say thank you. Even if what she is offering isn't your cup of tea. Still say thank you. Kindness and manners go a long way.

I have noticed over the lock down period that many (not all) guys don't even say thank you.

Totally agree. It also goes both ways, if the dude says "Ok, thanks a lot!", the WG should leave it at that and not harrass him.

I once asked for rates, got an answer 3.5K per hour, I thanked the lady when she started negociating while I kept saying that I'm not interested in spending that kind of cash on an hour. That lady went all the way down to 1k5, but, for a heap of reasons, I don't want to meet a lady who has discounted over 50% of her rate.

Anyway, the whole thing was quite unpleasant as I am not enough of an ass to just stop answering ton someone who is expecting a response.

If the guy says thank you I say it's a pleasure. If I don't get another text I leave it at that.

But this evening I have received 4 texts from 4 different guys and not one of them said thank you. Then I think to myself. Where they raised by mothers who didn't teach them basic manners or what.

Just grates my cheese. Because I am a very happy go lucky personality and very polite.

Atleast I don't get a shitty text back about pricing or trying to convince me to break lockdown or "can I get a preview" or something silly like that....maybe their mom's thaught them if u aint got nothing good to say keep your mouth shut;)

My pet hate: After an exorbitant "quote" I politely reply "no thank you" THEN get a "what can you afford" reply....
I respect that service providers have a right to charge as they wish - a beer in bar (a) costs X and in bar (b) costs Y - However everyone in bar (b) pays the same for the said beer !!!

@missred you are right when you say "if you have nothing nice to say keep it shut"

But being polite goes a long way in my books.
