Here is one from Harvard. They have a few other free courses as well.

I got my kids the "Java Programming and Software Engineering Fundamentals Specialization" from Duke University on Coursera. There are 5 courses in this specialisation:
1. Programming Foundations with JavaScript, HTML and CSS
2. Java Programming: Solving Problems with Software
3. Java Programming: Arrays, Lists, and Structured Data
4. Java Programming: Principles of Software Design
5. Java Programming: Build a Recommendation System

The programme starts today (15 April), so if you hurry, you may still be able to enrol for the current intake (I don't know when the next enrolment is)

The programme can be completed in 2 to 4 months (I am pushing my kids to try to complete it in a month - because they have nothing better to do all day)... and the good thing is that you get a certificate from Duke University afterwards - one of the most prestigious ivy league universities in North America.

The programme costs $45 per month... so if you can get it done in 2 months, that could be $90 well spent.

One thing I would recommend if you are learning to program is to pick something you want to build.

That way it becomes a bit more fun also it easier to see who things link together when you see the real problems you will be solving.

I would leave learning "proper" computer science/programming till after this.

More most people find the straight learning to program a struggle to get through as it can be a bit dry.

Some of the course follow the building something approach and they seem to be better to get into programming.

Once you are through that I would then recommend going through the more straight forward programing/computer science stuff.

Udemy has wonderful online courses...

I am currently doing web design and have also done a few on digital marketing in the past few months.
