So during a presentation this week, they discussed re-extending the lockdown if the daily rate of infection went over 90, as a safety measure.

Today it jumped 251 if i'm not mistaken. Which could possibly mean that it will be further extended. However, I doubt this could happen because of a spike on one single day.

Let's cross our fingers and hope there aren't too many spikes over the days to come.

So far the rate of new cases discovered has not been under 90 per day, previous day was 178.

With out widespread acurate testing the true rate remains unknown. A dischem in Boksburg has 24 employees sick, a lot of which are asymptomatic

I think the Govt doesn't have a F@#*n clue how to get back to a normal state of business or how to get the Economy in action again.

I have full trust in our Pres to steer SA through this. His decision making up to now have be spot on, and much better than his USA and European counterparts.

Kooni you are basing your spurious comments on the figures you are being given?

As mentioned before, ask Tegs he knows everything. He even knows what I base my comments on. Fucking amazing. He does not only have lots of "friends" he is a mind reader also.

Seeing that you are so fucking clever, please state facts why my comments are "spurious".

He did very well initially with the 3 week lockdown. But he is running a huge risk that by extending it again, there will be a huge uprise. Be careful the Government can even be overthrown as hunger sets in...I am not sure he and Cabinet realizes how serious the situation has become. Our police and army are so useless, they will have no chance whatsoever to suppress a mass uprising.

How many thousand more are going about their daily lives without knowing they have this virus like the employees at that pharmacy? Probably many. Whole world locked up and it is very likely that most wont even know they have this virus.
