Why should I celebrate Freedom Day ? We are shackled beyond reason. We were shackled before Covid. Now it is just a physical lockdown.
FREEDOM IS JUST ANOTHER WORD FOR HAVING NOTHING MORE TO LOSE.
So lets celebrate having nothing more to lose.

I remember it like it was yesterday... the second best day of my life after the birth of my son...
Amazing, standing in queues with people of all races and religions. Totally chilled, no aggro. An experience I never thought I'd see.
And yes, we ( of the middle class) are mostly worse off, with corruption, state capture and widening of the wealth gap... but..
Many more people have access to running water and electricity so their lives have improved drastically. Our welfare grants assist the poorest of the poor..
We still have a long way to go but remember that many people HAVE benefitted.
It's up to all of us to be vigilant, be activists to stop the corruption. MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD!
