Sorry to vent here but I now see in court no matter what as a guy you'll always be wrong, you can bring a matter to court to try and have access to your child, a child you've fed and clothed for close to a decade and the mother decides to cut you off, what used to be weekends or holidays with your child then turn to hours a week, the mother misses court appearances, zero accountability, she spins her story but im not allowed to say my side of the story, my lawyer just sits and takes it, again sorry to vent but in a world where some guys run away from their kids how does a father wanting to have access and be a part of her child's life be so hard to do

It's a fallacy that people have whi think all women are angels and can never be or do wrong. There is limited justice and fairness in the world. We can see this play the same way when a woman harasses a man we are told to man up. No consequence for women displaying bad behaviour so they continue with it.


I am sorry for your pain bud. While I don't have kids I have nieces and nephews and I love them dearly. I couldn't imagine how devasted I would be to no be able to see them.

I have a friend that has been though the same thing. He did everything for his wife but she still cheated on and left him. He was then at her mercy when he wanted access to his own son. He managed to get his son every other weekend by agreeing to one-sided conditions in the divorce... The way I see it he is basically paying to see his own son.

Watching what he has gone though has convinced me to never get married.

I've been through the same thing.
A consolation for me was, as the kids grew older they started rebelling against their mother's kak attitude and demanded to spend more time with me.

Thinking of you and hoping you get something sorted.
