Hi all.
I recently saw a post on the forum by Meg, and I nearly gave myself whiplash clicking on her profile only to be hugely disappointed. It was a new Meg, not the legend from Pretoria East.

This set me thinking - possibly ESA should find a way to reserve the names of some of the greatest SPs this site has known. The following SPs have left, hopefully temporarily, so let's avoid disappointment and put their names on ice until they return. Please add the names of your legends to this list:
- Meg
- Aurora
- Mandy (NM)
- Harley (RIP)

What a stupid idea, do u think the staff at ESA office is here to mark a register to suit this kind of stupidity??

Impossible to implement. Who decides which names should be reserved and for how long should it be reserved? What if someone's been using one of the reserved names on all their other ads, then wants to advertise on ESA using their known name? The reserved names are not paying more for adverts than anyone else, so why would they be afforded a privileged, but others not.
I totally get what you mean but there are practicalities to think about that makes it near impossible to implement.

It is clearly not a practical suggestion- it was a lighthearted comment about the past legends of this site.
