I thought I'd find out from everyone where you hide your punting phone. Had a WG call me out of the blue last night, much to my utter shock. It wasn't the first time this happens. I got a random call from a different girl earlier this year. Luckily I was alone in both instances.Its ultimately my fault of course. I dragged my feet about about getting a punting phone because the prospect of it being discovered always made me feel I'm better off controlling everything from my primary phone . I'm interested to know where you hide yours. Is there anyone whose punting phone was discovered?

I've ditched the punting phone and run WhatsApp business linked to my punting number on my phone. Put your punter sim in your phone, download WhatsApp for business and register with that number. Put your normal sim back and continue as normal. I would hate for an additional phone to be discovered if something had to happen to me. The only down side is not being able to make a standard call from that number, but those instances are far a few, and it's working well for me.

But if you save a contact - then it gets saved with all your normal contacts? Correct?

Correct, but I suppose it wouldn't matter if you single, or not in need of hiding it, which the OP seems to be in need of.

For this scenario of one phone, you can either install a virtual space (second phone profile) where you manage the punting related activities from. On Samsung phones simply use the secure folder option where you can install all your punting apps on. Everything remains private and locked away, and once the folder is closed/ locked, its as if it doesn't exist.

Not entirely correct.

You can set WhatsApp to not save a contact to your device, the contact gets saved only on your WA account (cloud).

I just use coded names. They mean something to me, they don't stand out so much to someone unless they are looking.

I also whatsapp business with notifications off then I hide the punting apps.

I have two sims in and keep the punting sim off. I use that occasionally if there's a WG who isn't on whatsapp and is worth calling normally.

I have a regular of over 5 years who after his appointments puts his lube and his punting phone in the boot side panel for tools

I have a dual sim phone. Switch on the punting sim when it's punting time

Keeping a non smart punting phone is a help. Those small button phones. Small and easier to hide in a dark corner of your laptop bag/office documents file. Downside is you cannot whatsapp the girls or surf esa.co.za from that phone.

Always remember to make switch off after using, always.

Good morning Gents,

Get a "gippo" SIM. Activate the Secure Folder on the phone (Android). Load Whatsapp in that folder. Create a Whatsapp account with the new SIM. Remove the SIM and carry on.

oh, set the notifications on THAT whatsapp to OFF.
