- Iranian air force rendered ineffective
- Iranian missile volume down 90% (apparently)
- Iranian attack drones down 95% (apparently)

Yep, it might take a while. I dont see the IRGC giving up and they still control the ground.

The IRGC is solely to blame, they have been threatening the US and Israel for a while so now they are in FAFO stage. They don't represent the Iranian people and the majority of the Iranian people are against them and cheering for USA and Israel. I actually cant believe people are supporting the Iranian government that just recently killed over 30 000 of its own people for merely protesting against the regime.

The IRGC follow a death cult ideology ( Twelver Shia Islamist), they are actively trying to create the apocalypse to summon the Mahdi. If left to their own devices they could trigger apocalyptic times. Look what they did to the neighboring middle east countries and then imagine if they had nukes. Their ideology also includes the slogans, "death to America" and "death to Israel". They are also capable and not to be underestimated, their shahid drones were so good even USA copied it. They have nothing to lose and if necessary would destroy their own country to destroy their enemies.

As for USA, its not just about helping their allies but also looking out for their own interests in a hostile world.

As for regime change, the people of Iran want Pahlavi. It would be a mistake if the US tried to force their own puppet regime.

International law is dead, its funny that people expect USA to abide by international law but do not hold Russia, China, Turkey, etc. to the same standard. In times when everyone is out for themselves and defying international law, why should US handicap themselves while their enemies grow stronger?
