Traps, pecs , lats and shoulder blades, including the rhomboid muscle
Again.
As always stressed in my sessions.
The importance of understanding how muscles work, interact and affect our overall movement , strength and stability leading to ripple effects from injuries and the like, affecting healthy muscles.
Once again pointing out, sharing information is CRUCIAL when it comes therapy.
In instances where the injury or pain is severe and consistent over a longer period of time, always to visit a medical practitioner to ensure no underlying illnesses or physical disabilities are the route cause of aches and pains and muscular disorders.
I am the go to for aftercare once your physio or chiro has diagnosed and done their share of work .
My work is to ensure further wellness and maintenance and healing takes place and I work hand in hand with medical practitioners.
In the case of the above mentioned muscles focus on
Upper back
Shoulders and shoulder blades
Neck
...to relieve tightness and pain as well as address posture issues.

Addressing deltoid, biceps and triceps.
Elbow and shoulder stability and movement.
Effect of elbow and shoulder joints.
Biceps and triceps...while one muscle contracts, the other lengthens.
The deltoid is responsible for helping one move ones arm front, back and sideways .
The deltoid muscle, a most powerful muscle responsible for stabilisation and elevation.
Swimmers.
Golfers.
Bodybuilders.
And in our everyday life carrying heavy loads, above the head tasks and general use and engagement of arm and shoulders
The effects of a damaged deltoid most definitely impeding on shoulder and arm interaction.
Again. Understanding the interaction of muscles leads to muscular therapy relevant and healing.
Let's talk why the stiffness felt, the niggling pain and see what can be done.

Greetings to all.
It has been a month of many new developments and prospects in my space of offerings when it comes to health and wellness.
The interest shown, the prospects of what can be, has had me looking toward an infrastructure where different wellness offerings can be made and priced accordingly.
I know I am excellent at what I do and have further decided to add another qualification to my existing education.
The goal being to be your choice without hesitation when it comes to mind and body wellness.
I do work hand in hand with medics and further wish to expand my affiliation to sporting clubs and institutions.
Why this post?
Because in order to be able to offer the wellness services and prices accordingly, AFFORDABLE , the first task at hand is location.
To all who are waiting for responses from me as to my programmes and pricing, please bear with me for a day or two.
I am excited at what lays ahead and look fwd to growing further interest when it comes to mind and body wellness .

I work hand in hand with physios and chiros.
Should you choose me as your therapist pre or post care when it comes to sporting events, the required treatment methods shall be applied.
Should you be suffering from debilitating movement due to injury , accident, illness PLEASE NOTE that your medical history is important to share ...kept private and confidential...as more harm can be done than good when applying any sort of body therapy.
Should you be looking to destress, looking for physical maintenance then to address not only the aches and pains but, habits and mindset too.
Acupuncture / dry needling for detoxing as well as relief of stiffness and pain.
Sport massage including trigger points and pressure points , understanding the anatomy, physiology and physicality of what makes our body and how it interacts and works ...I have not only gained through experience BUT, through higher education too.

By not disclosing such conditions can lead to greater harm being done. Information shared is private and confidential.
The therapy applied is NOT massage one would experience at Spa's. It is medical and targets problem areas and looks to alleviate stress, pains , injuries and address body maintenance too.
As mentioned before pre or post care for amateur and professional sports people.

Breathing.
Overthinking breathing or not understanding the importance of breathing and how it does assist in relaxation, curing of anxiety, quietening a stressed mind.
There are various breathing techniques one can look at.
BUT the first go to for me is to emphasise breathing exercises to STRENGTHEN the lungs...in doing so one addresses lung capacity, reduction of shortness of breath and helps regulate breathing.
Adequate oxygen is required for maintaining overall health.
It turns food into energy.
Helps the brain survive and stay healthy.
Keeps ones immune system strong...just to name a few important facts.
And thus....much we take foregranted may be the very reason one may be going through mental and physical challenges.
Looking fwd to being YOUR partner toward a lifestyle and mindset embracing greater understanding of self help .
