You see, there is two types of marketing. The 1st being the type that works and appeals to the target market, and the 2nd being the exact opposite by not appealing at all. Marketing is a tool used to illicit sales. It can be completely and incorrectly applied to a point that it achieves the complete opposite of the intended effect. Just ask Budweiser how well their beer sales have been since adopting that faggot mascot of theirs as their brand ambassador.

The confusion and frustration that "specials" cause is a huge contributing factor to the decline of this trade. Not to mention add-ons as if they are pizza toppings.

If there is an imbalance between what the rates of the WG is and what the punter is wiling to pay then that causes a stalemate in that the WG wants to maximise her profit and understandably so, yet the punter wants a bargain and understandably so and both feel the deal is unfair. Specials and add-ons cause this imbalance big time. Supply and demand needs to be balanced or business goes south. It's not rocket science.

I like to punt when a WG offers a rate for her services that she provides which I am willing to part with. No add-ons, no bargaining, just a straight up rate for what to expect and that's it. Complication leads to irritation, irritation leads to hesitation, hesitation leads to cancellation.

Personally I don't care what anyone does it is their choice but my suggestion is that WG's should adopt a rate, stick to it, and a punter should have a budget and stick to that. Everything will eventually fall into place but for the love of God and all that is holy stop bitching about how slow things are or how much WG's are asking. Many or you are to blame for your own wrong doings and stupid behaviour. Get a life or find someone that is willing to transact with you in the way you would like to.
