Or put ourselves in a situation and accepted being treated as less than what we usually consider acceptable. I have learnt that as much as I need to forgive other people's poor behaviour. More importantly,I need to also forgive myself for being responsible for allowing it.

Some people just use text chat very literally, like a conversation. They not weird or anything, maybe just haven't adapted.

A normal face to face conversation, would start with a greeting and then a pause for a reciprocal greeting. Then a 'how are you, and a reciprocal exchange'.

It would actually be quite rude if someone walked up to and said, Hi and just went straight into a business request.

So ladies, it could be a new guy, whose actually just normal and polite, and not akin to the ways of this world...

In my circle, all the 'Hi' and wait people are the most polite and caring people I know. Me on the other hand, I needed to learn to say, Hi, first. So I appreciate these people who have taught me manners, even if the chat medium is different.

Not listening is what got the loosers to be where they are.

Always listen but dont follow all advise

These "WG" & "MG" will always at the end of the day be women and many of them mums! Don't know why some of some of us punters treat them like SHYT.
Treat them with the respect and I'm sure they will do likewise. Spoil them a bit, even if it's a stop at the fuel station to get a protea or a chocolate. They appreciate the gesture.

Treat them like you would like to be treated!
