I recently had some good fortune, and have a bit more disposable income. So i have been punting more than usual. I found some of the more expensive wg tend to treat me way different when i show up, even though when i phone i state "please excuse my appearance , i work a physical job and need to shower before the session starts". Angie was one of the few that doesn't judge a book by its cover and gave me one of the best sessions i ever had. Some other girls even after ive showered, brushed my teeth cleaned up etc ,still look at me like im not worth their time. So long story short, if you can afford the higher price girls go for it, if you can't. The lower priced girls 90% of the time is way more BANG for you're buck. Just my opinion.

Eziguy broke it down the best some people appeal to a wider market and will get more calls simple as that.

Prices need to be adjusted at the wgs discretion, we don't know their operating expenses, margins, goals, etc if you cannot afford it look elsewhere you may have to sacrifice the fancy apartments, but you get what you pay for if not you can reduce punting frequency or leave the game. We can protest all we want but we have little control over fuel prices same way we have little control over wg prices at least with wgs there's competitors charging a lesser fee.

A side note in my experience a wg who charges an above average rate and gets "fewer visits" does not necessarily mean she's more enthusiastic than someone who sees 5 people a day I've been number 5 and number 1 at a higher rate and there's no correlation with quality of service.

The only way girls will have reason to lower prices, is when they price themselves out of the market. So obviously (& correctly so) a girl will charge the max she can get away with (just like every other business).

But here is maybe another thought. Is this not creating more hardship for the girls that are not in the top tier ito looks or service?

Just take this example (have no idea what the real numbers are). Let's say the whole punting community spend by all punters is say R2m per month. If the average spend is R1000 per session, then 2000 bookings take place. If the average price doubles to R2000, then the number of bookings halves to 1000 bookings.

It might not be an exact zero sum game. But for most punters (id guess 90%) there is not an infinite pot of money for punting. So when prices rise, the number of bookings drop.

Is this not what we are seeing? A larger proportion of punting money going to fewer girls? If you are not among the top 10% of girls (maybe 20%) ito looks or service, your income have probably fallen as the top tier girls with their very high prices is drawing the bulk of the punting spend....

Vrik, good hypothesis, one more consideration, adjust the total value of available spend per month downwards by the total of fixed monthly arrangements(this could be a significant number), before averaging. The ladies in the top 10 or 20 percent are also the most likely to have >R10k+ arrangements

Very interesting observation Vrik. Might be on to something. A similar thing happens in the OnlyFans world. Yes, there's a lot of money in OnlyFans, but most of it is concentrated among the top 1% of creators, and this is the what most girls who start an OnlyFans (thinking it's a quick easy buck) learn the hard way. It's also why the original OnlyFans popularisers (pornstars, camgirls) dont like it when celebrities and streamers join the platform - as it means more money at the top and less money equally distributed among the middle and bottom.

The kind of guy who's become accustomed to booking the current crop of +/-R2000 girls at their previous +/-R1500 isn't likely to "downgrade". I think we've seen this; he's more likely to just have fewer total punts with the same group of girls who've spiked their rates, rather than stick to the same number of punts at his preferred rate. That and/or just having shorter bookings with that same crop of now more expensive girls.

Unlike OnlyFans though there may be a scale constraint to this. The WGs successfully increasing their rates will either keep seeing the same amount of clients as previous...or...the more likely scenario is that they'll just see fewer clients. So even the guys who are willing to just have fewer in total - but more expensive - punts, may not even be able to get bookings with those girls. Maybe this is what keeps the percentiles just below afloat?

Another very good point.

I have been punting for more than 20 years. My thought is B2B and sensual massage prices should be between R500-R700. Ladies should be charging for full house between R800 and R1200, anal should be an extra cost. The prices I have heard recently are ridiculous.
