I just wonder if the judge got shares in all of the Pistoruis companies or just in one.

He escaped thanks to judge Masipa's questionable verdict.
But he cannot escape God's judgement.
Poor Reeva!

There is a proverb that reads, "...never judge a man before you walked a mile in his shoes...". So i guess i'm with Mandy. What if it was really an accident?
As i said before, the state failed to prove their case. Gerry hit with all he had...and it is all circumstantial evidence, means nothing, trying to attack people's character and break down their credibility does not prove anything. Law is about facts, substancial evidence and exact science.
...for the people that want to see him go under...still serious issues on outstanding charges, however he is a first time offender on most, however the charges will add up in years.
Last point firing a gun at a person does not equal to intent to kill...in court you can argue that your intent was to stop or immobolise the other person. Can't remember the latin, but it boils down to intent to cause serious bodily harm, there is a case on this whete a SA guy pull a gun in a bar fight a shot a guy through the neck who later died...not guilty, intent was to immobolise and not to kill.
In SA law, in murder, intent needs to be proven and as the judge said, proving intent is subjective hence all the views here.
I will stick out my neck and say, he will not get minimum sentence...she will hit back with he did think as he had other options, he decided to pick up a gun, armed it, walked to the bathroom and shot FOUR times at a door, knowing there is someone behind it. Ammo without license, and 2x discharge of firearm in public.

He is fucked...

@ Derek4069, with culp homoside she can give him a suspended sentence, on the other 3 counts she can give him a fine. I would be very suprize if he serve 1 day in prison.

'Tis very strange, quoth Horatio.
Some of the Constitutional Court decisions also leave me nonplussed.
