What the man said was unnecessary and likely rooted in a similar grounding. We must also understand that he's human with his own way of reacting to rejection.

ROAR must be respected. It is a lady's prerogative to choose who she may sleep with.

That said, it always shocks me how threads like these become home for some pretty racist shit and we can not excuse the fact that it is, by definition, racist to exclude/infer anything purely on skin colour.

Like has been said, I too will defend your right to choose but let's not pretend it's anything but racist.

You're comparing a racial "preference" that only plays out one way (in this enterprise) with complex sexual orientations that are influenced by both biology and cultural+religious norms. They're not equivalent. Think more about the industry norm (ROAR), the circumstances wherein it presents itself, and who it most commonly excludes. Think more about the pattern of behaviour - it's simply not arbitrary.

What's most relevant is that ROAR works the way you'd expect it to work given the dehumanising and abhorrently racist history of this country. We can be honest and introspective about it whilst still respecting body autonomy.

Its strange that if a white lady has a roar policy, some darker gentleman go up in arms with abuse and insults. However, if darker ladies have a roar policy, lighter skin gentleman just move on without all the insults etc. Just saying.......

You know i too get many calls asking if im "white" some decline the booking bcz they looking for a white lady. I dont call them racist nor do i think they bad or rude. Each one has their own preferences. Lets respect each other preferences and comfortability. Not everyone in life is going to like you, or want you. That's life lol,

A statement like this just shows how out of touch people are with other "races " especially when not taking into consideration much that is at play here and, all other spaces, that should not be...all due to a political past that pitted human against human.

Not to derail the OP's original post but, this to me is one of the best threads to date reading the comments ... some fired from a personal indignation suffered by a close one and understood , some playing the devils advocate trying to be a diplomat .

That's the point I made though - this doesn't happen. Post one, just one, active ad of a lady of colour with a ROAR policy that excludes white punters solely because they're white.
