Roughly 90% of my punts have been at night, I prefer them after dark. My worst ever punt is easily one that I had during the day. Maybe I'm naive but I've always been comfortable at night, especially if the lady is in a hotel, guesthouse or complex

Agreed that there are potentially more drunk or high guys wanting to book late at night, especially here in jhb, but some work weird shifts or have other valid reasons so if its been a quiet day and im still awake then I will at least answer the call.90% of the time its just not worth it because I've had bad experiences accepting those bookings.

But in cpt probably 4 nights a week, I will have whatever during the day and then after 10pm I'll have another 2 or 3 bookings. Its the weirdest thing. But I've never had even one of the late night bookings be any trouble.

Gut feel, logic, and a little research can go a long way

Both ways hey. Most scammers, druggies and bad service providers at night. You'll find a lot of the wgs with bad reputations only work at night preying on the really desperate and lonely or intoxicated guys that will take whatever they can get and bottom of the barrel is unfortunately all they can get at that time.

Of course there are a few exceptions so not all wgs working at night are shit, but few and far between.

It's actually pretty sad as most guys work in the day like most wgs and are free at night to actually visit wgs but the pickings are slim and the scammers and bad service providers just leave them regretting which is bad for everyone. I personally wish more good wgs were available as I am a night owl and often go on working until midnight before I have time to punt.

So I'd say stick to trusted wgs and venues for night visits but those are few and far betwee. Rather avoid new profiles or unreviewed profiles. Usually just scammers reinventing themselves. Check the Google view street maps to get an idea of the place as well and avoid shady areas. If you see/hear any signs of Nigerian or drugs during the call etc, rather just move on to the next. Trust your instincts. If things feel off when you pull in, forget about the time you wasted getting ready and driving etc and just leave. Don't take any valuables but your punting phone to communicate on the way and the agreed booking fee only. If you're armed, make sure it's well concealed but easily accessible entering the place and also while you're busy. Look around and make sure the place is clear of other people and that doors are locked before getting it on.

I agree with you on that one.

Ive had it where you call them and ask whats your eta. They reply by saying gps says 5 min. And then as the clock hits 5min you get blocked. Its so pathetic.

Never had a problem witj evening punters.

Not often but when they do book its always 3 hour booking.

Punters it is just as sketchy for a so and punter . Day or night .

If the area is good area and in a security unit both punter & so are safe.

I felt a lot safer punting at night pre-covid but post-covid south africa just dowsnt feel safe at all, especially at night.

I'm glad you had a good laugh, Roshta. I salute you for taking some of those late night or early morning trips. Saved most of us school fees and you unearthed some hidden gems.
